Samay—
A Quechua word MEANING
‘breath, spirit, rest’.

deeply rooted in nature
The meaning of SAMAY perfectly embodies the essence of my work: helping you reconnect with yourself, find deep relaxation, and experience a sense of wholeness.
My journey began in Switzerland, where I grew up as the daughter of a Colombian mother and a Swiss father who had a deep love for adventure. This blend of cultures taught me early on that life thrives in contrasts – from the serene mountains of Switzerland to the vibrant energy of South America. These influences shaped my belief in embracing the full spectrum of human experience.
From healthcare to breathwork
With a background in psychiatry and physiotherapy, I’ve witnessed firsthand how profoundly the mind and body are interconnected.
Whether I worked with patients facing mental health challenges or recovering from injuries, the lesson was always clear: true healing begins within.
Yet, it was my personal struggles—wrestling with self-doubt and feeling disconnected—that led me to pause and prioritise my own well-being.
My search for answers took me across the globe. I immersed myself in wellness rituals in Mexico and Colombia, explored yoga in Bali, and attended a transformative breathwork workshop that changed everything. For the first time, I felt truly connected, relaxed, and whole.

Today, through Samay, I offer a space for you to explore the power of conscious breathing. My approach blends science, years of healthcare experience, and lessons from my own journey.
Breath is more than a biological function—it’s the bridge between body and mind and the key to balance, calm, and vitality.
a space for transformation & healing

At Samay, I invite you to reconnect with your breath, calm your mind, renew your energy, and embrace life with a new sense of ease.
